The Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is located in Solihull, England. It is conveniently located near junction 6 of the M42 motorway and is adjacent to Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International railway station.

You’ll find us clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6 – just pop B40 1NT in your sat nav. When you arrive at the NEC don’t follow your satnav anymore, look out for the show name you’re visiting on our signs. Then, simply jump on our free shuttle bus or take a leisurely stroll along our signposted footpaths.
Parking –there are 16,500 spaces available. Follow the electronic signage or directions provided by the traffic team to get you to the right car park area for your event (North car parks are closest to Hall 11). Once you’ve parked you can either take a free shuttle bus or walk to the halls using their signposted footpaths.
Coach services are operated by National Express and Megabus, with over 120 daily services from across the UK to Birmingham Airport. From here you can get to the NEC in minutes on the free air-rail link.
Regular local buses depart from Birmingham City Centre. The 900 service runs every 15 mins during the day taking approximately 30 mins. The 97 service operates every 30 mins, 24hrs a day taking approximately 45 mins.
Local bus services also run every 30 mins throughout the day to Solihull (service 966) and Coventry (service 900).

Getting to NEC by train is easy as the NEC is located a five-minute walk away from Birmingham International Railway Station. Direct services run all day, however if you’re travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is less than a 15-minute journey away.
The NEC is just minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX).
Simply take the free and fast air-rail link to Birmingham International Railway Station located at the upper level of Terminal 1. The train runs every two minutes and only takes 90 seconds. When you arrive just head straight through to the NEC.
