The World’s Greatest Living Explorer

-The only man alive to have travelled the surface of the World’s polar axis - Ranulph Fiennes is the only man alive ever to have travelled around the Earth's circumpolar surface (more people have been on the Moon!) His record-breaking expeditions include travel by riverboat, hovercraft, manhaul sledge, skidoo, Land Rover and ski... Now he's taking on a new record-setting challenge, the Global Reach Challenge, to raise funds for Marie Curie. By completing the challenge he'll become the first person to have crossed both polar ice caps and climbed the highest mountains on each continent. To date Ranulph Fiennes has raised over £18.3 million for different UK charities including the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the British Heart Foundation and Marie Curie Cancer Care. Sir Ranulph Fiennes has been named the UK’s top celebrity fundraiser by Just Giving, the UK’s most popular online fundraising platform. He has raised more than any other celebrity fundraiser featured on during the same period. To date he has raised £8.3 million for Marie Curie.
