England's Premier NHS
Procurement Event

The NHS Supply Chain Procurement Pavilion

The NHS has a challenge to deliver £22 billion in savings by the end of the financial year 2020/2021 including £700 million from improving procurement. NHS Supply Chain is uniquely positioned as the national provider to work alongside trusts to respond to this challenge and support its achievement.

NHS Supply Chain works closely with the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) to deliver the £300 million of procurement efficiencies that were highlighted in 2015 in Lord Carter’s interim report: Review of operational efficiency in NHS providers.

In addition, Supply Chain Coordination Limited (SCCL) acts as the management function within the NHS Supply Chain Operating Model for the NHS that will deliver savings of £2.4 billion back into the frontline by 2023/2024.

The new NHS Supply Chain operating model (formerly known as the Future Operating Model) is the design of a new supply chain service that will deliver clinically assured, high-quality products at the best value and support procurement activity across the NHS.

The NHS Supply Chain Procurement Pavilion at P4H England will provide you with the opportunity to connect with key personnel from across all of the operating model’s 7 specialist Category Tower Service Providers (CTSPs) who are working closely with the programme to further develop frameworks in order to ensure delivery of clinically evaluated, quality products at the best possible value.
