When the UK Government published the White Paper ‘The United Kingdom’s exit from and new partnership with the European Union’ in February 2017, amongst the many issues addressed was the need for some form of Dispute Settlement Mechanism.

The Government stated that “We will bring to an end the jurisdiction of the CJEU in the UK” but also acknowledged that “ensuring a fair and equitable implementation of our future relation with the EU requires provision for dispute resolution”.

This session considers the possible options that could be taken to resolve procurement disputes in the future.
